Meet ZiRong!

Meet  ZiRong!  She's 8 years old and her birthday is the same as Medora's, just 4 years later.

These photos were taken in November 2016, by a visiting volunteer / advocate group.

This photo was taken on her birthday in October 2017, when she turned 8.  We sent a cake for her room to share.  Turns out the room has so many children they needed 4 cakes!

She's in Yulin, Shaanxi (the red pin below) - just on the border with Inner Mongolia. 

 

We will fly into Xi'An, the capital of Shaanxi.  Xi'An is famous for the terra cotta warriors, and it is also an ancient city.  It was formerly the imperial capital and the eastern terminus of the Silk Road.

We will meet ZiRong in Xi'An on the afternoon of Sunday April 15!!!!!  Xi'An is a 6 hour train ride south from Yulin.  I hope her journey goes smoothly.
